Online interactions


We’re living now in the era of online collaboration and exchange of ideas  through synchronous or asynchronous modes of communication via the Internet. Several different types of  tools are at our disposal to get in touch with others through writing, reading, listening and speaking, regardless of geographical distance.

The most common tools for asynchronous communication are emails, egroups, forums, and slideshares - they are useful for your own learning as well as for your interactions with your students and colleagues. You can take advantage of their specific features to keep in touch with those who are far from you yet close enough to be reached by an online message.
